Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (9 ounce) refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 8 ounces bacon slices (8 strips)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (35%, can use a little more)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper (lot's of black pepper!)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain then transfer to a bowl and toss with a small amount of oil or butter to prevent sticking.

  • Step 2: In a skillet cook bacon until crisp; remove and crumble (remove some of the bacon grease leaving 1-2 tablespoons in the skillet to saute the garlic).

  • Step 3: Add the garlic to the skillet; saute 1-2 minutes; add in the cream, Parmesan cheese, parsley and cooked bacon; cook for 2 minutes until heated through.

  • Step 4: Add in the tortellini; toss until heated through then season with more salt and pepper, serve immediately.
