"This is enough sauce for 3 medium pizzas, depending on how much sauce you like on your pizza. I have, at times, used vegetable cocktail in lieu of tomato juice, depending on what I have on hand. Both work equally well. If you are watching your salt intake, you should use unsalted butter as tomato paste has quite a bit of salt already as does regular butter. But, if you are not watching your salt intake and like the typical pizzeria style sauces, this is great as is."

I used low sodium tomato juice and unsalted butter and it was delicious. I made one large pizza and froze the rest. Very good!
