Step by Step Method
Step 1
Season beef to taste.
Step 2
Dredge in seasoned flour.
Step 3
Heat oil in Dutch oven.
Step 4
Add beef and brown.
Step 5
Add onions, adding more oil if needed.
Step 6
Cook onions until translucent.
Step 7
Season lightly.
Step 8
Add tomatoes turn on low and cook 15 minutes.
Step 9
Add water, (can add beef bouillon).
Step 10
Simmer 1 hour.
Step 11
Add green beans.
Step 12
Simmer 1 hour covered, adding more water if needed.
Step 13
Can add a slurry of flour and water and cook if you wish, I'm not.
Step 14
Season to taste.
