"Who ever invented Nutella I think deserves a Nobel Prize. I usually make this recipe with bananas but strawberries is a good substitution."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Toast bread just a little bit. Spread them with Nutella.

Step 2

Combine nuts and sugar.

Step 3

Layer bananas on top of Nutella.

Step 4

Brush bananas with melted butter and top with sugar nut mix.

Step 5

Broil for 30 seconds.

Step 6

Garnish with cocoa powder and chocolate curls.

My daughter absolutely loved this bruschetta. She adores the savory bruschetta, but this is now another bruschetta at the top of her list. We all too enjoyed it as much. Thank you Ms Pia for sharing.

The whole package is really tasty, but the cocoa powder gives it a yummy bittersweetness. My broiler took about 4 minutes for the brown sugar to melt. Bananas and Nutella were made for each other!
