Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt butter in a large skillet, add onion and cook about 3 minutes until tender crisp.
Step 2
Add brown sugar, apple/orange juice and vinegar; mix well.
Step 3
Add cabbage and mix well to coat the cabbage.
Step 4
Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Times may vary, based on how done the cabbage is.
Step 5
Make a slurry with the cornstarch and water, when mixed well, add to the cabbage. Let it cook 5 more minutes while the sauce tightens ups.
Step 6
Serve!
