Step by Step Method

Step 1

Sprinkle tomatoes with sugar; set aside.

Step 2

Melt butter and saute green onions. Add parsley, dill, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat. Add chicken stock.

Step 3

Whip milk and flour until smooth. Pour slowly into soup.

Step 4

Combine dumpling ingredients.

Step 5

Drop by teaspoon; boil until dumplings come to top.

Step 6

To serve, place a spoonful of sour cream in bottom of bowl, ladle soup over; garnish with dill.
