"I made this recipe years ago, when we were first married. DH and I loved it. It is a refreshing dessert with subtle flavors and a little kick from the Cointreau. I found this in one of my Woman's Weekly Dinner Party Cookbooks which I have always treasured. Note: To do ahead Dessert can be completely assembled ahead and topped with the whipped cream and chocolate shaves just before serving."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Wash and hull strawberries & peel and segment oranges, reserving any orange juice. & remove pulp from passion fruit.

Step 2

Combine all the fruit with Cointreau, add reserved any orange juice, cover & refrigerate.

Step 3

Combine sugar and water in saucepan, stir over heat until sugar has dissolved & bring to the boil, remove from heat, cool.

Step 4

When cool add to fruit mixture, cover, refrigerate until ready to serve.

Step 5

Top with whipped cream & chocolate shavings if using. Serve immediately.
