Excellent! I've never made a steamed pudding before, but always wondered... It is a surprisingly light cake, with a nice crumb to it. I have to fess up though, I did make one small change - and that was to substitute one of the tablespoons of milk with a tablespoon of dark rum. Oh, baby! I didn't make a custard to go with it, but definitely will to finish off the rest. The syrup is very good, too! Thanks, Pat, for a keeper of a recipe! Made for Billboard Tag.
