"Do you like Grape Nuts? This is my mother-in-law's recipe and is great. That is all I can say. I always double the orginal recipe because I love it sooooooo, the ingredients below are for the doubled size; if you want a smaller one, cut it in half."

Step 1

Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole.

Step 2

Soak grapenuts in hot water for a short while so grapenuts are soaked (drain any excess).

Step 3

Put into the casserole; mix the butter, milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla and add to the grapenuts; mix well.

Step 4

Bake in a pan of water in a 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes depending on your oven; before taking out be sure it is firm in the middle.

So easy to whip up that my granddaughter made it all by herself and she is 10. My family just about licked their plates clean! We liked ours cold with whipped cream piled high on top. Beyond enjoyed by all!

Totally delicious dessert that we loved very much! The grapenuts softened during baking and made a soft crust on the bottom with the custard on top. I topped ours with whipped cream and we pigged out. So very delicious. I couldn't get enough!

I had never had this before, but after having it, you can bet your bottom dollar I will be having it again. As a matter of fact I am making it again today at the request of my daughter who fell in love with it too. Great dessert and so delicious you will want to eat the whole thing! I topped ours with lots of whip cream. Yummmmmm!

This looked interesting and I had some leftover grapenuts so whipped up this pudding. OMG is it ever good. Whipped cream is just what it needs to give it a little added sweetness. Comfort and sweet is where it's at with this new favorite of mine!
