Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oil in large skillet with lid and cook onion until soft.

Step 2

Add mustard seeds, ginger, salt and turmeric; cook for about 3 minutes, while stirring.

Step 3

Add cauliflower pieces to spice mixture, making sure it is coated thoroughly.

Step 4

Stir tomatoes into mix with cumin and parsley. Add sugar to taste.

Step 5

Cover and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes; stirring occaisonally.

Very yummy! I found that the added sugar enhances the flavours tremendously (maybe that's just me, but still...). I tried it without sugar and found it a bit bland, but after adding 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, I found it great. Very nice, quick side dish. Thanks for sharing!
