Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place the salmon fillets skin side down in a lightly oiled baking dish.
Step 2
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 3
In a small bowl combine soy sauce, maple syrup and ginger.
Step 4
Spoon maple mixture over fish.
Step 5
Broil fish in the top third of oven until a knife tip, when inserted into center of fish comes out warm. About 15 minutes.
Step 6
Baste with pan juices halfway through.
Step 7
To serve, place on plates and drizzle pan juice over top.
