Step 1

Sift together sugar, salt, flour and cocoa. Add sour cream, melted butter and eggs. Beat until smooth. Lastly add baking soda in the boiling water beat some more.

Step 2

Pour into buttered floured 9 inch pan.

Step 3

Bake 350 degrees, for 30 -35 minutes.

Very good cake! I wanted to use up some sour cream and this was the perfect way to use it and one my family will enjoy. I used am 8 inch pan so cooked for another 5 minutes or so. Thanks for sharing!
