"If you love Snickers, you will love these! What a great candy bar these make!!! Adapted from and old Taste of Home recipe by How Sweet It Is blogger Jessica. Note: This works great in one of those 12x17" half-sheet aluminum cake pans. You can pop the entire square out and cut from there!"

Original is 12-15 servings
  • BOTTOM CHOCOLATE LAYER
  • NOUGAT LAYER

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Bottom Chocolate Layer: Thoroughly grease your baking pan. Melt ingredients together in a saucepan or microwave until melted, then pour into the baking dish and spread until even. Let cool and harden completely.

Step 2

Nougat Layer: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add in sugar and milk, stirring until dissolved and bring to a boil. Let cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in fluff, peanut butter and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Turn off heat and fold in peanuts, then pour over bottom chocolate layer. Let cool completely.

Step 3

Caramel Layer: Combine ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Let melt, stirring occasionally, until smooth, about 10 minutes. Pour over nougat layer, and let cool completely.

Step 4

Top Chocolate Layer: Melt ingredients together in a saucepan or microwave, then pour over caramel and spread until even. Let cool and harden completely.

Step 5

Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving, then cut as desired. These can stay at room temperature, but they do get gooey.

They were so delicious! I made some to have Easter day and also to go in baggies to give to my family and guests for Easter. Kids loved their bags to bring home and I think the adults did too!

These take a little while to make but they are really worth the time and effort. My grandchildren loved them when I gave them to them for Easter. I think it's about time I made them again. I know they will be thrilled!

Good Lord child, these are so good!!! I am a chocoholic and Snickers is at the top of my list of favorite candy bars. These are as good as what you get in the store and I think even better!

One of the best bars I have made, and these are the best, I've made them twice already but forgot to rate them. I am going to try it with homemade marshmallow fluff next time since the jarred is very expensive, the only labor-intensive part about this is unwrapping the caramels, so so good thank you for your recipe!

I made these originally to send to my step-granddaughter. By the time my first batch was done I had my husband, son in law and daughter digging into the pan. By the time they stopped eating there was only a few left, so I had to make up a second batch to send. They came out great and were enjoyed by the whole family. My granddaughter called to tell me "I was the best". That alone gives this 5 stars and then some!
