Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400' F.
Step 2
With all ingredients at room temperature, mix butter, sugar, and egg thoroughly.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt.
Step 4
Blend into the liquid mixture and then form into 1-inch balls.
Step 5
Mix together the sugar and cinnamon coating on sheet of waxed paper and roll the balls in it.
Step 6
Put on ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Step 7
Bake 8-10 minutes.
Step 8
Cool on wire rack.
