Step by Step Method
Step 1
Warm tortillas, then make a slice in each one from the center to the edge.
Step 2
Imagine there are 4 quadrants.
Step 3
Smash half of the avocado on one quadrant of each tortilla.
Step 4
Sprinkle with seasoned salt and/or hot sauce, if desired.
Step 5
Fold one or two slices of ham and place them in the next quadrant.
Step 6
Arrange half of the cheese onto the 3rd quadrant of each tortilla.
Step 7
Fold up the tortilla starting with the empty quadrant gets folded over the cheese, then that gets folded over the ham and finally fold over the avocado.
Step 8
Place in panini maker, cheese side down until the cheese has melted or until your panini maker signals it's done.
Step 9
If you don't have a panini maker, you can place on a cast iron pan and use a spatula to push each one down as they cook.
