Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place the ground beef, green chilies, ketchup, mustard, chili powder, garlic powder, dried oregano and salt in a large non-stick skillet cook over medium-high heat until beef is browned, about 15 minutes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, remove the gills and stems from the mushrooms and wipe them clean.

Step 3

Add the rice and parmesan cheese to the cooked meat mixture and stuff the mushrooms using all the meat mixture.

Step 4

Place the mushrooms, stuffed sides up on a baking pan and top with the cheese slices.

Step 5

Place under the broiler on the top shelf of the oven for 3 to 4 minutes until cheese is melted and is slightly browned.

Step 6

Allow to cool a couple of minutes.

Step 7

Enjoy!

Great recipe - the flavours all compliment each other with the portobello bringing them all to gether. Served to a very picky eater and she loved every morsel. I used buffalo meat. Will be made again very soon
