Step by Step Method

Step 1

In bowl, add bbq sauce and teriyaki sauce stir

Step 2

Set aside.

Step 3

Season chicken with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Grill chicken until cooked through.

Step 5

Add pineapple to the grill 5 minutes before removing and grill both sides.( I would add sauce here myself)

Step 6

Remove chicken and pineapple

Step 7

Smother chicken with sauce on both sides.

Step 8

Top chicken with grilled pineapple

Step 9

Serve with the remainder sauce for dipping.

Wowsa, was this ever good! So easy, too!! I had some leftover homemade teriyaki sauce and combined that with my Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce for a delicious new creation. I did slather on the sauce during the last few minutes of grilling. The grilled pineapple worked really well with the chicken and sauce. Easy grilling recipe that will be repeated!

Fantastic flavors on this chicken! I had chicken thighs, so I used those instead of breasts (had to go with what was on sale at the grocery store) and used fresh pineapple instead of canned -- made the sauce as directed and it's FIRE! Soooo good! Served with some rice for a delicious dinner that I want to make again (and soon)!
