"This is made with the jars of shrimp cocktail sauce that have little shrimp already in them. For areas that do not have this product, you can cut up 5 or 6 shrimp and mix in it. Sorry for the confusion guys. I have put a recipe that will mimic the jar its really good and really easy"

  • Make sure to buy a jar of cocktail sauce with shrimp already in it for the best flavor.
  • If you can't find a jar of cocktail sauce with shrimp, you can use ketchup and add minced cooked shrimp.

  • Substitute cream cheese for Greek yogurt for a healthier option. Greek yogurt is high in protein and calcium, and provides a creamy texture similar to cream cheese. This substitution is beneficial for those looking to reduce their fat and calorie intake.
  • Substitute horseradish for wasabi for a more intense flavor. Wasabi is a Japanese condiment that is much more pungent and spicy than horseradish. This substitution is beneficial for those looking for a bolder flavor in their dip.

Creamy Shrimp Dip Replace the horseradish with 1/4 cup mayonnaise, and add 1/4 cup diced celery. Mix all the ingredients together, let stand overnight in the refrigerator, and serve with crackers.

Classic Caesar Salad - A classic Caesar salad pairs perfectly with this shrimp dip. The crunchy romaine lettuce and croutons provide a nice contrast to the creamy dip, while the Parmesan cheese adds a salty flavor to the dish.

Garlic Bread: Garlic bread is a great accompaniment to this shrimp dip. The buttery, garlicky flavor of the bread pairs nicely with the creamy dip, and the crunchy texture adds a nice contrast. Plus, it's an easy dish to prepare and serve!

I made it using my own cooked shrimp. I added more shrimp and much less horseradish than called for. It would have been way too strong for us if I hadn't. We liked it on some crackers and celery sticks.
