  • When selecting the shrimp, make sure to pick medium-sized shrimp for the best flavor.
  • When picking over the crabmeat, make sure to remove any shells or cartilage.

  • Substitute the shrimp for salmon fillets: This substitution will provide a heart-healthy source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are known to reduce inflammation and help lower cholesterol levels.
  • Substitute the crab for cooked lentils: This substitution will provide a plant-based source of protein, fiber, and other essential vitamins and minerals. Lentils are also a great source of antioxidants, which can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

Vegetarian Variation Substitute 1/2 pound of diced eggplant for the shrimp and crab. Cook the eggplant in the skillet with the scallions and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the wine, lemon juice, pepper flakes, thyme and salt; cook, stirring constantly, until heated through, about 3 minutes. Serve the linguine, topped with the eggplant mixture.

Wishing I could give more than 5 stars as this was so good, I scaled back for 1 serve and used up the prawns and crab meat I had in the freezer and it is just so super easy to make with the most time taken up boiling the water and making the pasta the rest was a breeze and tasted so good, thank you TeresaS made for First Time tag game on FF&FF.
