Step by Step Method

Step 1

Whisk together all of the marinade ingredients.

Step 2

Pour over pork chops. Let marinate for a minimum of 3 hours, better if marinated longer.

Step 3

Prepare outdoor grill place pork chops on hot grill and leave alone (5-6 minutes - more or less depending on how thick they are) until they release from the grill grate with little effort. Use tongs and turn pork chops 1/4 turn to create cross grill marks. Flip pork chops and grill 2nd side for 2-3 minutes more, to sear and they are done when internal temperature is 140-degrees F. BE CAREFUL not to overcook, to prevent from drying out.

Step 4

Remove pork chops from grill and let rest on a plate for 5 minutes before serving.

Wonderful pork chops -- I made 5 pork chops using the same amount of ingredients and they turned out great. I used the fresh rosemary option and the dried sage option along with about 5 garlic cloves. We also marinated the chops in the fridge basically all day and they were very tender! Thanks for sharing!
