Step by Step Method

TO MAKE THE SAUCE


Step 1

In a saucepan heat oil, add onion and saute until soft. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer while you brown the ribs.

FOR THE RIBS


Step 2

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 3

Season the ribs with salt and pepper; brown in hot oil. Transfer to a greased roasting pan. Pour the sauce over.

Step 4

Roast, covered 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until ribs are tender.

These turned out tasty...the hubby loved the flavor but not the extra fat that comes with short ribs...I fount they easy to prepare...served them with mashed potatoes and corn...

This was a great meal for my family I don't know if 6 short ribs is 3 pounds but that's what I used, and doubled the sauce amount, I also made it in my oven, very good and my family enjoy it, thanks!
