Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pounds beef short ribs
  • Salt & pepper
  • Oil
  • SAUCE
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 tablespoons tamari (soy sauce)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon siracha, to taste

How to Make

  • TO MAKE THE SAUCE

  • Step 1: In a saucepan heat oil, add onion and saute until soft. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer while you brown the ribs.

  • FOR THE RIBS

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  • Step 3: Season the ribs with salt and pepper; brown in hot oil. Transfer to a greased roasting pan. Pour the sauce over.

  • Step 4: Roast, covered 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until ribs are tender.
