Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400F.

Step 2

Place the spouts in a baking dish and drizzle withe olive oil; stir to combine.

Step 3

Season with salt and pepper, add the almonds and toss.

Step 4

Roast for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Step 5

When done, sprouts will be tender, but will still have some bite.

Step 6

This pairs well with seared salmon.

This is a lovely change of pace with the addition of the almonds! I used slivered and left them as is. Roasted in my countertop oven for 16 minutes and the sprouts were browned and the almonds were perfect. We both thoroughly enjoyed this recipe. A do-again for sure! Thank you for sharing Teresa! Very simple recipe that lets the flavor of the brussels sprouts shine. Loved the toasted almonds. I would reduce the cook time just a bit though or add the almonds a bit later so they don't get too brown. We really enjoyed these with a yummy steak and some potatoes and carrots.
