"This delicious old fashioned dessert slice is from our old family cookbook and one that family and friends love. Recently found it's just as good using saskatoons, apples or plums. A wonderful dessert, perfect slice to take to potlucks, brunches and coffee hour. Another crowd pleaser that garners plenty of compliments and recipe requests whenever it's served. "

Lovely platz! I used frozen blueberries with a sprinkling of cinnamon and Becel unsalted margarine. As we are not fond of really sweet things, this is perfect for us! I am looking forward to making this with other fruits! Thank you Gerry for this wonderful keeper! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.
