"Those deep-fried nuggets of chicken coated in that sweet, sweet sauce. You can make this at home and its ridiculously easy."
Mix all the ingredients of the Sauce together and set aside.
Heat up a saute pan and add about 2 inches of oil on medium to high heat.
While the oil is heating, whisk all the batter ingredients together until smooth. Drop in the chicken cubes and mix well until well coated. Set aside.
When the oil is fully heated, using chopsticks, gently drop in the battered chicken cubes, one by one, making sure each piece is spread out to prevent sticking together. Continue to fry until the color changes to golden brown. Dish out and drain on paper towels.
Transfer 2 tablespoons of the frying oil to a wok or skillet and stir fry the garlic until aromatic (30 sec). Add in the sauce and bring to a light simmer.
Drop in the chicken and combine the sauce and chicken. Add the sesame seeds.
Serve immediately over steamed rice or fried rice.
