Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat butter in 9x13 casserole.

Step 2

Add layers of chicken and onions on top of butter, layer mushrooms with onions.

Step 3

Cover bake in 350 degrees F oven for 40 minutes. (Original recipe says 90 minutes)

Step 4

Uncover.

Step 5

Take chicken mixture out and add rice; then add chicken mixture back on top.

Step 6

Add bouillon cubes to boiling water and mix, pour over chicken mixture.

Step 7

Cover and bake for about 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
