Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cream sugar, salt and peanut butter.
Step 2
Beat in eggs one at a time
Step 3
Add milk until well blended.
Step 4
Slowly ,temper first, stir in boiling water, then vanilla.
Step 5
Ladle into well buttered custard cups (ramekins). (6-8 cups).
Step 6
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Step 7
Place cups in shallow pan.
Step 8
Fill with hot water to within 1 inch of top of cups.(bain marie)or (hot water bath)
Step 9
Bake in 325 degree oven about 4o minutes or until set
