Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1⁄3 cup sugar
  • 1⁄3 cup peanut butter
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can (12 ounces)evaporated milk
  • 1 cup water,boiling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cream sugar, salt and peanut butter.

  • Step 2: Beat in eggs one at a time

  • Step 3: Add milk until well blended.

  • Step 4: Slowly ,temper first, stir in boiling water, then vanilla.

  • Step 5: Ladle into well buttered custard cups (ramekins). (6-8 cups).

  • Step 6: Sprinkle with nutmeg.

  • Step 7: Place cups in shallow pan.

  • Step 8: Fill with hot water to within 1 inch of top of cups.(bain marie)or (hot water bath)

  • Step 9: Bake in 325 degree oven about 4o minutes or until set

  • Step 10: Chill
