  • When selecting the cooked shrimp, look for medium prawns that are peeled, deveined and halved horizontally.
  • Use a vegetable peeler to thinly slice the Lebanese cucumber lengthwise for the perfect texture and presentation.

  • Substitute shrimp with equal amounts of cooked chicken - the benefit of this substitution is that it is a more budget-friendly option that still offers a great source of protein.
  • Substitute aioli with equal amounts of mayonnaise - the benefit of this substitution is that it is a more widely available ingredient, so it is easier to find in most grocery stores.

Chipotle-Style Substitute the aioli with a chipotle-style mayonnaise. Add a sprinkle of chili flakes to the prawn mixture and top with grated cheese before adding the top bun.

Cucumber Salad: A light and refreshing cucumber salad is the perfect accompaniment to the prawn and avocado sliders.
