Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 900 grams cooked shrimp (medium prawns, peeled, deveined and halved horizontally)
  • 1/4 cup aioli
  • 8 small (240 grams) bread buns (rolls, split)
  • 50 grams snow pea sprouts
  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber (Lebanese cucumber, thinly sliced lengthwise,see tip)
  • Lemon cheeks, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine prawns and aioli in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Heat a barbecue/grill or char grill pan over moderately high heat and add bread to grill and cook for 30 seconds or until toasted.

  • Step 3: Place bread roll bases on serving plates and top with sprouts, avocado, cucumber and prawn mixture and top with remaining bread and serve sliders with lemon cheeks.

  • Step 4: TIP- Use a vegetable peeler to cut cucumber into ribbons.
