Step by Step Method

Step 1

Brown chops (in olive oil) 6 minutes on each side or until done. Remove from pan, keep warm.

Step 2

Add onion to pan, saute a few minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in preserves, soy sauce, garlic, and salt (you may not want to add any additional salt because of the soy sauce - I didn't). Cook until slightly thickened.

Step 3

Return pork to pan, including any meat juices. Turn to coat. Spoon remaining glaze over pork when plating, sprinkle with green onion tops.

mmm very flaourful !! My chops were very thick so they took longer to cook; i thought i had some green onions in but it turned out i was out of them , sooo i subed with chopped red onion, they worked very well, the glaze was great, love the apricot flavour. thanks for posting. I did not need to add extra salt, the soy sauce was sufficient.
