Step 1: Brown chops (in olive oil) 6 minutes on each side or until done. Remove from pan, keep warm.
Step 2: Add onion to pan, saute a few minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in preserves, soy sauce, garlic, and salt (you may not want to add any additional salt because of the soy sauce - I didn't). Cook until slightly thickened.
Step 3: Return pork to pan, including any meat juices. Turn to coat. Spoon remaining glaze over pork when plating, sprinkle with green onion tops.
