Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 (1/2 pound) boneless pork loin chops
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions (with a few green tops reserved for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown chops (in olive oil) 6 minutes on each side or until done. Remove from pan, keep warm.

  • Step 2: Add onion to pan, saute a few minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in preserves, soy sauce, garlic, and salt (you may not want to add any additional salt because of the soy sauce - I didn't). Cook until slightly thickened.

  • Step 3: Return pork to pan, including any meat juices. Turn to coat. Spoon remaining glaze over pork when plating, sprinkle with green onion tops.
