Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine the first 10 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and Liquid Smoke; simmer 10 minutes. remove the lemon slice and discard.

Step 3

Season the pork chops lightly with salt and pepper.

Step 4

In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil in batches. Transfer to a 13x9 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Pour sauce over chops.

Step 5

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until chops are tender.

One can never go wrong with a taste of home recipe, they never disappoint. This was a very tasty pork chop recipe!! I followed the instructions as listed using only 4 chops and used the sauce to drizzle over some baked potatoes.
