Step by Step Method

Step 1

For the rub, mix the brown sugar, paprika, sage, dry mustard, salt, pepper and water together. Spread on raw chops on both sides.

Step 2

Put some paste on bottom of pan.

Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour uncovered.

Very flavorful combination of flavors in the rub. We all liked it. I followed the directions exactly and the rub melted off all the pork chops but one. The pork chops were so tough. I could not figure out what I did wrong.
