"Can add 2 cans of butter beans served with sunny side egg on top. They use dried skinned large limas but I can't figure out how they cooked them together with out the rice being mushy"

Step 1

Heat oil and butter together add turmeric

Add rice

Stir until it gets opaque

Add water mixed with salt and drained beans

Bring to a boil

Cover turn down to a simmer

Cook 20 minutes take off heat leave covered 5 minutes fluff
