  • When picking out the white bread, make sure to get a loaf that is fresh and not too hard.
  • When buying peaches, look for ones that are ripe and juicy to get the best flavor.

  • Substitute almond milk for regular milk: Almond milk is a great dairy-free alternative to regular milk, and it will still provide the same amount of creaminess to the egg mixture. This substitution is beneficial for those who are lactose intolerant or vegan.
  • Substitute coconut oil for butter: Coconut oil is a healthier alternative to butter, and it will still provide the same amount of flavor and texture to the egg mixture. This substitution is beneficial for those who are looking to reduce the amount of saturated fat in their diet.

Caramel Apple Cobbler French Toast Follow the same steps as the original recipe, but substitute the peaches with chopped apples. In the sauce, substitute the 3 tablespoons of butter with 3 tablespoons of caramel sauce. For the garnish, substitute the redi-whipped cream with caramel whipped cream.

Quite good, Dee! Loved the peach sauce over the French toast, where it felt decadent, special enough for a celebratory occasion - think of Mothers Day, Fathers Day or Easter. Hubs also tried the sauce over vanilla ice cream and he was quite pleased. For the bread used stale baguette and it worked out wonderfully. Thank you, Dee, for sharing.
