Step by Step Method
Step 1
Peel potatoes, if desired, and slice 1/2" thick.
Step 2
Heat butter in a saucepan. Add onion and cook until golden brown.
Step 3
Add potatoes, tomato sauce and water. Season to taste.
Step 4
Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
