Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt butter in saute pan.
Step 2
Add onions and sugar.
Step 3
Cook for 5 to 8 minutes until onions are caramelized.
Step 4
Add red wine, white vinegar, bay leaf, thyme, grenadine and salt and pepper.
Step 5
Simmer until liquid is gone.
Step 6
Serve chilled.
