"This recipe is a modification of a recipe on the Quaker Oats box. These can be made as bar cookies by baking 30-35 minutes in an ungreased 9x13" metal baking pan."
Preheat oven to 350'.
Beat the butter and sugars together until creamy.
Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Add the combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt and mix well.
Stir in the oats and raisins and mix well. The dough will be too stiff for an electric mixer.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
Remove to wire rack.
