  • 2/3 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 240 grams old-fashioned oats (old-fashioned raw oats, 3 cups)
  • 1 cup raisins (seedless)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350'.

  • Step 2: Beat the butter and sugars together until creamy.

  • Step 3: Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well.

  • Step 4: Add the combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt and mix well.

  • Step 5: Stir in the oats and raisins and mix well. The dough will be too stiff for an electric mixer.

  • Step 6: Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

  • Step 7: Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Step 8: Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.

  • Step 9: Remove to wire rack.
