Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt butter in a covered saucepan over medium heat.

Cook mushrooms, green onion, and garlic in butter until mushrooms are cooked and liquid has evaporated, about 5 minutes.

Add rice and stir.

Stir in chicken broth .
Step 5
Season with parsley, salt, and pepper.
Step 6
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
Step 7
Cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
Step 8
Take off heat and leave covered 5 minutes.
