  • When picking the milk, make sure it is fresh and not expired.
  • When melting the butter, make sure it is not burnt or overcooked.

  • Substitution 1: Replace 2 egg yolks with 1/4 cup of vegetable oil. Benefit: This substitution makes the waffles more moist and adds a rich flavor.
  • Substitution 2: Replace 2 cups of all-purpose flour with 2 cups of whole wheat flour. Benefit: This substitution adds more fiber and nutrients to the waffles, making them a healthier option.

Chocolate Chip Waffles Add 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the flour mixture before adding the egg whites.

Maple Bacon: This classic combination is the perfect accompaniment to Mrs Harding Waffles. The sweetness of the maple syrup and the salty bacon flavor will balance out the light and crispy waffles for a delicious breakfast.

Fried Eggs: Fried eggs are a great addition to Mrs Harding Waffles and Maple Bacon. The creamy texture of the eggs will provide a nice contrast to the crispiness of the waffles and the crunchiness of the bacon. The eggs will also add a rich flavor to the breakfast that will complement the sweetness of the maple syrup.
