Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan.

Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg, set aside.
Step 3
Beat oil, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix well, then stir in nuts.
Step 4
Peel and dice apples, adding to batter as you go, stir until apples well incorporated.
Step 5
Bake for 45-60 minutes or until done. To test doneness, stick a knife in the middle. If it comes out clean, it's done.
