"This is how mom makes it. I add 6 ounces of mushrooms, but my mom didn't because she hates mushrooms. We also used the dreaded green can (Parmesan). lol It was always served with salad and garlic bread, if we were flush, bread and margarine when we weren't."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat skillet. Put in salt.
Step 2
Add ground beef then brown, make crumbles fine not chunky (drain if too greasy).
Step 3
Add in the onion, cook with beef rest of way until translucent.
Step 4
Add garlic then spices and spaghetti sauce; cook until thick.
Step 5
Add drained cooked noodles to sauce; cook a few minutes more, toss so noodles are coated.
Step 6
Top with Parmesan cheese then toss.
