Step 1

Heat skillet. Put in salt.

Step 2

Add ground beef then brown make crumbles fine not chunky (drain if too greasy).

Step 3

Add in the onion, cook with beef rest of way until translucent.

Step 4

Add garlic then spices and tomato sauce; cook until thick.

Step 5

Add drained cooked noodles to sauce; cook a few minutes more toss so noodles are coated.

Step 6

Top with Parmesan cheese then toss.

This is exactly like my mom made back in the 50s and 60s except we only had that awful parmesan in the green can. I used fresh. I also added a small can of mushrooms, because I like mushrooms. :)
