"These are very good cookies! For my vegan diet I used vegan sugar, vegan butter and vegan chocolate chips, feel free to make them using real regular sugar, butter and real chocolate chips :) For soft centers bake the minimum, the longer time will yield crunchier cookies."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet pan with a silicone baking mat or line with parchment paper.
Step 3
In a large bowl cream together the sugar, vegan butter, molasses and vanilla.
Step 4
In a small bowl sift together both the bread flour, all-purpose flour, cocoa, spices, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Step 5
Beat flour mixture into sugar mixture. The dough will be stiff.
Step 6
Fold in chocolate chips.
Step 7
Form dough into 2″ balls. Place on baking sheet 3-inches apart.
Step 8
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Step 9
Allow to cool on cookie sheet 2-3 minutes before transferring cooling rack.
Step 10
Cookies are best enjoyed warm.
