Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Line a baking sheet pan with a silicone baking mat or line with parchment paper.
Step 3: In a large bowl cream together the sugar, vegan butter, molasses and vanilla.
Step 4: In a small bowl sift together both the bread flour, all-purpose flour, cocoa, spices, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Step 5: Beat flour mixture into sugar mixture. The dough will be stiff.
Step 6: Fold in chocolate chips.
Step 7: Form dough into 2″ balls. Place on baking sheet 3-inches apart.
Step 8: Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Step 9: Allow to cool on cookie sheet 2-3 minutes before transferring cooling rack.
Step 10: Cookies are best enjoyed warm.
