Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

Grease and flour bundt cake pan, shaking out excess flour.

Step 3

Combine first 7 ingredients in large bowl and beat thoroughly.

Step 4

Pour into prepared bundt pan.

Step 5

Bake until tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 50-60 minutes.

Step 6

Let cool 5 minutes in pan, then invert onto rack.

Step 7

Blend 1/4 cup coffee liqueur with powdered sugar in small bowl until smooth.

Step 8

Drizzle evenly over warm cake.

Made for your last Football Pool win - As agreed, I made this cake & substituted brewed coffee for the vodka since it was served as dessert for a family brunch that included a mix of mostly non-drinkers & kids. The cake was so yummy & an easy make (I knew ahead of serving it because I made a "taste test" in a ramekin). Then I faced the same issue w/the glaze & opted to use my pastry brush to apply a thin choc sauce & sprinkled crushed peppermint candy to add a bit of color for the pic. I know I chg'd the recipe, but Siggi's family loved the outcome. They had begun to devour the cake & I still needed a pic, so I snatched it from the table temporarily & got some very scary looks while they waited for me to put it back. Thx for sharing this recipe & for allowing my modifications. :-)
