Mini Schlow Burger with Horseradish Sauce

"This burger and sauce are from an incredible cookbook "Wicked Good Burgers". It is cut down in size (the recipe called for 2 -9 oz burgers, even that, for me, is too too large). I have made a few other changes. The plain burger is really complimented with the horseradish sauce. I like to have lettuce, slice tomato & slice of sweet onion on each burger you add whatever you like.."

Step 1

Make the sauce mixing together the mayo, horseradish, lemon juice and pepper cover & place in fridge until ready for use.

Step 2

Gently mix together the chuck, worchestershire sauce, salt & pepper

Step 3

Form 3 or 4 patties

Step 4

On a lightly oiled pan cook the burgers apprx 4 minutes each side.

Step 5

When you flip the burger and after a minute add cheese to the top

Step 6

Cover with a lid and continue cooking until the cheese has melted and the pattie is cooked to your liking

Step 7

While the patties are cooking toast the buns.

Step 8

Place your patties on the buns, add your favorite condiments and the horseradish sauce

Made this to go with extra lamb patties I had left over. It was perfect! Just the right ratio of mayo to horseradish for us. Made as written and would not change a thing. Saved it for do agains. Thanks Bergy for sharing!
