Step 1

Heat olive oil in a frypan over medium heat and cook onion and bacon for 3 - 4 minutes and then set aside.

Step 2

Whisk together eggs and cream and season well with salt and pepper, and stir through cheese, cooked onion and bacon, zucchini and spinach.

Step 3

Preheat pie maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 4

Fill the plates with 1/3 cup of frittata mixture and cook for 5 - 8 minutes until egg has set and repeat with remaining mixture.

Tips & Variations


  • Pie-maker.
  • You can vary the ingredients according to taste, for instance omit the bacon for a vegetarian version, use feta cheese instead of cheddar, or add different vegies such as grated carrots or chopped capsicum.
  • You can use milk instead of cream.
